Hai there.
My world is out there. It’s different than your world. I am a full-time Single Mother (oh noes, one of those hey!) … to 5 children. 3 boys (18,16,13!) and two girls (9 and 6). If I really wanted to go into specifics, I would list all of the many “special needs” some of my children have. However, I won’t. Reason being? A label does not make you who you are inside. ANYWAYS … I am a “Former Teen Mom” … I excelled above and beyond that label. Few failed relationships under my belt, but hey who’s counting? I am a mother first. I am a sister, an aunt, a cousin … and a survivor. I still stand straight up with my head held high. Believe it, or not.
I recently graduated the Community Support Worker program at Sprott Shaw Community College, with a GPA of 3.69. Impressive for a girl who was told *all* of her entire life that she’d always “be a failure”. Nope. I rose above that. I did not want to just be known as “just another teen mother”. But, on the flipside to this coin – I am enrolled in the Bachelor of Arts program in TRU in the Fall. I am making my way in this world. Inch by Inch. Bit by bit.
Now, you may see me mention my children in this blog. Hell, they are my life! You may not. This is my outlet per say, to expel things in my life – which are hard to express offline. You may find some blood, sweat and tears in these entries. You may find some weird humor. But it’s all me. Every last bit of it. 🙂
I am also working on myself inside and out …and you will also come across the trials and tribulations that make me who I am inside. Rock on folks!
